Tanks are made to order so the location of taps and overflows can be customised to suit individual requirements. All rainwater tanks are made from sheets of corrugated iron and riveted together with steel rivets. Empty tank are fairly easy to move ranging in weight from 25-170kg. Rainwater tanks are ideally situated in a shady areas, away from overhanging trees.

The weight of the full water tank needs to be considered when organising a base or stand for the tank.
